Senior Solutions Engineer
Provides primary engineering support and/or augments their peers, sales and end user customers in the most complex, demanding and highly visible accounts or projects without regard to segment, market, technology or industry vertical with the purpose of driving customer solution sales.
Provides strategic direction regarding technologies and solutions to the sales team, participates in customer meetings to uncover opportunities and recommends solutions, and develops relationships with customer contacts to help further Sprint business within the account. Conducts knowledge transfer sessions with sales, other Solutions engineers, or other organizations internal/external on solutions, technologies and industry trends. Presents to internal/external audiences and at industry events.
•Bachelor's degree and eight years related work experience or twelve years related work experience post high school
•Eight years of sales and/or marketing experience in telecommunications or a related field
•Five years experience selling solutions, technical products, services or applications
•Five years experience in creation of technical documentation and formal/informal presentations
•Five years experience managing internal/external relationships in a matrix environment
•Five years project management experience in a technical and/or customer environment
•Five years experience providing strategic direction in a leadership role
•Five years of industry leadership experience in telecomm/IT technology
